On the defense of Ethan Horvath, that was a bullet from close range, hands were still down when the ball passed. Everybody did good, and comfortable with Horvath at goalie, from what I saw, he's good with his feet and confident making passes from the back. All positives for me. Here is the fatal flaw. After the red card down a man at 0-0. Manager can't be blamed for not making changes because there is only 17 minutes gone in the match. However, after the goal making it 1-0 USA…you don't need any more goals! Your job is to lock it down from there. Immediately! Manager should have immediately gone to a 5 defense – 4 midfield line up and hold the lead until half time. Gregg blinked and did nothing until it was too late.

What game were they watching?! I get it. A number rating. System is subjective, but when overlaid with their descriptions, one has to be left, scratching their head. Not a single player on that field deserves anything above. Individually and collectively they were steaming hot garbage. It is time to stop making excuses for the golden generation. They are an abject failure. They continue to underperform deliver every single critical moment since they stepped up to the stage. They’ve been coddled and told how exceptional they are, but they have failed to deliver anything meaningful.

People need to understand something. Lack of discipline in a team is squarely the responsibility of the coach. A team's discipline, formations, personal on the field are all the responsibility of a coach. And Greg has failed all those every single game. The biggest issue is that Greg is their buddy instead of their coach. It's no different than parents acting like friends to their kids instead of being parents as they should be. We have the talent but we don't have the coach to properly utilize that talent.
