Cheers for tuning in and I shall catch up with you in the comments so feel free to drop your thoughts on the players we're linked to – Kone especially!!

  2. Tbf your very good at what you do geo, you never over extend things to get views you keep it authentic and get the topics through your work so I think you should be proud of yourself and the content that you do

  3. £12m for Downes is ridiculous fee. If he was a Southampton player who’s had a huge influence in their promotion and we wanted to buy him, Southampton would be asking £20-25m all day long for him as he’s a crucial player for them 🤷‍♂️

  4. I think it was Russ over at WHN that said he was pretty sure there had been something of a gentleman's handshake between clubs prior to Flynn's loan to Southampton about a transfer fee. That might explain the fee.

  5. As a Canadian WHU supporter, I must say that Kone would be a great signing for us. I followed him at CF Montreal and he has massively improved since he has been in England. Also, I don't think we have seen all that he is capable of yet; I think that he still has a lot of potential yet. He played really well against Argentina and he was the best Canadian player on the pitch for the draw against France a couple weeks ago.

Jonathan David is a player that I have been wishing for WHU, I think that his style would be perfect for WHU. He is such a great player and thinking of him playing with the likes of Bowen, Kudus, etc. he would be an amazing addition for us.

Getting both of them would be a dream for me, good business and I don't think that they will break the bank. Excited by these rumours!!

  6. Kone has played 40 odd matches for WFC this season. I've seen over half of these. He has grown into the Watford team, better going forward than defensively, and can get bullied a little by some of the more physical sides in the championship. He was nowhere near winning the player of the season award at Watford and fans would not pick him out as one of The Horns top 2/3 players, unlike Downes at Southampton. My view is he needs another season at Watford and track his progression. I'm not sure we don't have better options in our own U21's. Hope that helps Geo.

  7. David is a sure-fire 20 goal scorer; think stronger, faster, more accurate Antonio.

Kone is a work in progress. Has high end potential but wouldn’t start over anyone we have right now.

  8. it will be a mistake on west hams part if johnson is let go he is a solid rb and a position we go do without buying a nother player to replace him same old retarded west ham

  9. Forget Kilman, forget Foderingham – both crap players. Get Calafiori and use Anang from the reserves. Cmon West Ham sort this out!

  10. Kilman is a waste of money if paying anything more than £20m.
Go and get the Italian no.15 and be done with it. If there’s money to be spent if Aguerd is pushed out or not, get Nunez too. With Zouma what he is, Ogbonna gone, Mavropanos a flight risk, Aguerd wanting out, we need two centre backs at least.
Hopefully Downes goes, never warmed to him& the quotes he made about wanting to stay at Southampton. Southampton are taking the piss if offering £12m.
As for Johnson, I hope you are right. Johnson has been delaying the whole situation for ages! Yes while that scumbag moyes was there I understand he would want to go but why is still so adamant not to sign?! Get him out. Anyone not fully vested, out!
Hopefully, Soucek and JWP have suitors too.

  11. Spent £10 on match bingo, did all the free games too – won nothing. Had £1 left and played it on cricket which I know nothing about.
    Got £50

  12. Rumour has it that there is some North American investment firm interested in purchasing shares in the club. Apparantly a Canadian Soverign Wealth fund are looking into securing a stake before the 2026 World Cup. is it a coincidence that we're being linked for Canadian players and players from the MLS? maybe… or maybe not!

  13. Just want to pick up on one thing. You said the Flynn Downes deal didn’t work out for us. I’m inclined to disagree. I think it could prove to have worked very well. He probably wasn’t ready for first team football when he arrived but the loan to Southampton has shown that he is a player who could fit nicely into our first team set up. I would be very much against selling him and agree entirely with your comment that £12 million is too little.
