      I rather think that the last qualifying campaign had some specific hurdles that impacted the Socceroo's. To start off with the Socceroo's were the only Australian National sports team not allowed to play their qualifying home games in Australia. Unlike League, Union, Netball and Swimming to name a few. Further, it meant preparation for matches that would have been on Australian shores were disrupted as playing venues and accommodation, travel and training were all organised on the hop. Even worse COVID had its impact on the players and Graham Arnold in particular, who was too sick to work with the team or attend games as a result of the infection. Personally I think we will see a better qualification tournament this time around.

      We will make it !!!! It is our "Devine right" to play in the FIFA world cup!!!!
      Its been our Devine right since 2005 – when we "reversed the curse" & won direct qualification for all future world cups via Devine intervention by beating Uruguay*.

      *Devine intervention – meaning we will always qualify via the 3rd place play off – but we will always make it.
