UEFA EURO 2024 *MATCHDAY 3* PREDICTION

hello ladies and gentlemen today I’ll be giving you all my match day 3 predictions for Euro 2024 the final match day of the group stage so by the end of all these matches we will know which sides will be advancing to The Knockouts now how many did I get right on Match day two not an impressive record five out of 12 couldn’t even get 50% correct match day one ended up a lot better somehow at the end of the day looking at it I just went for the wrong draws there were way more draws in this match day compared to match day one and that’s what ended up haunting me is match day 3 going to go any better probably not but we’ll see as always though let me know your thoughts in the comments below subscribe if you’re new and drop an early like let’s try to hit 3,000 likes on this video once again and if this does hit the like Target I will react to my initial group stage predictions I made right before the tournament began along with releasing my round of 16 predictions right away but without any further Ado let’s get into it all right so let’s obviously kick things off with group a starting off with Switzerland versus Germany now a quick refresher on the standings both of these sides have first and second Germany at the top with six points as they’ve gotten two wins so far Switzerland had drawn a loss they said it’s second with four Scotland take three as they only have one point against Switzerland and Hungary are in last with two for two losses Germany have had their STS to show the world that they are one of the favorites to win the entire competition demolishing Scotland on the opening day 5-1 defeating Hungary 2-0 in match day two while Switzerland have every reason to continue to stay confident as although they drew to Scotland in the last match day they are still undefeated in this Euro campaign so far a very convincing win against Hungary for sure and scullin yes was a kg draw but we still have seen from that match that this side has not lost their legacy Switzerland no matter the form they’re going into in the tournament they turn up and always have history to qualify for the next round and they definitely look to be on track now as nothing’s changed with this team I mean we continue to see shakiti score bangers for his country at every single International Tournament he’s just made his Dan once again against Scotland despite the draw it’s still a solid result for the Swiss Germany will definitely still be trying in this matches although they definitely secured a spot to The Knockouts they have not solidified that first place spot Switzerland do have the opportunity to take it from them if Switzerland beat Germany they will have first place Germany second Germany without a doubt are the favorites for many to win this match based on their form so far and the talent they have on paper but I’m going to say it’s potentially a more narrow match and it finishes 2-1 Switzerland put off a great fight in fact they frustrate Germany a lot maybe at the beginning Germany get a lot of attempts but we see a goalkeeper master class on the Swiss side yeah I’m going to leave it at that which means Germany continued to hold on to that top spot if this does happen Switzerland are not guaranteed a second spot though it obviously depends on what happens between Hungary and Scotland Scotland definitely picked up a heavy negative goal difference after they faced Germany meaning they need to score loads of goals against Hungary and hope that Germany defeats Switzerland in some fashion to secure second place they definitely picked up their form against Switzerland made it a much more kg match they’re definitely on somewhat of an upward trajectory now and definitely have what it takes to defeat Hungary as Hungary have been very disappointing in this tournament going in before the friendlies to be on a massive unbe streak they lost a friendly to Ireland before the euro started and now they lost their two first matches against Switzerland and Hungary given those were the tougher opponents on paper in this tournament definitely Scotland has every reason to believe they can get a win in this some of the passion looked to be lacking in this national team definitely expected better from them I think a lot of people did lots of people riding this side as to be a potential Dark Horse of this tournament I put them at second in the group standings I know many other people did as well but now they could actually finish four place if they fail to get a win against Scotland they’re 100% giving it their all in this match though as if they defeat Scotland they will clinch third place with three points and it will be tough but they could potentially be one of the best third place teams to advance to The Knockouts at first my pick would easily be hungry but based off of their form so far in the Euros I’m definitely doubting them a tad bit definitely more 50/50 than it used to be for me but I’m saying Hungary still have what it takes to win this match in my initial predictions I had Scotland fourth so I’m going to stick to it I would not be surprised if I’m proven wrong here but I’m going to go for Hungary defeating Scotland 21 and if you haven’t gotten right now this is what my final table would look like Germany said at first switzeland second Hungary third Scotland fourth let’s move on on to Group B the only thing certain in this group is that Spain have topped it after defeating Croatia and Italy they sit at the top meaning their match against Albania we could definitely see an upset here because they might not give it their all they might not play their strongest lineup to save them for The Knockouts and Albania we have seen this side against Italy and Croatia they play with so so much passion more than many other sides in this tournament so if Spain’s passion seems to be lacking in this match Albania definitely can take advantage and another thing Albanian should be happy about is rogy picked up two yellow cards against Italy and Croatia meaning he will 100% be missing this match and as we all know he is one of Spain’s most important players Spain just like Germany I think are definitely contenders as tournament favorites based on the way they’re playing so far demolishing Croatia 3-0 against Italy they looked so dominant obviously only defeating them 1 n with the calot own goal but they simply controlled the match and left Italy shut down they just weren’t as clinical compared to the match against Croatia 100% playing some amazing football their Wingers yamal and Williams are absolutely dangerous but like I mentioned Albania play with too much passion and we’ve seen it against Croatia they were leading for most of the match Croatia made the comeback Albania did not give up they scored a last minute equalizer now don’t get me wrong I’m definitely not happy with how Croatia played in that match but I’ll get into that later and credit where it’s due this Albania side definitely have what it takes to catch you off guard and depending on Spain’s lineup I really would not be surprised if Albania can pull off an upset here if they do manage to beat Spain that would be massive because theyd either get second or third depending how Italy would do against Croatia and even if it’s third place they would get four points so they would probably advance to the next round this really all depends on how much Spain will turn up on this match day I really could see Albania winning this match but I’m going to play it safe and say that Spain do get a narrow win against them I’m going to go for 2-1 so Albania actually go out on style because that means they would score against every single one of their opponents in the group of death as many people expected them to be clean sweep they still put off a fantastic fight we’ll see though and if Croatia are not able to do well against Italy and Albania do win in this match I do wish them the best of luck in The Knockouts but now moving on to Croatia versus Italy Croatia sit at last place so without a doubt they need three points if they want to potentially make it to the Knockouts also depending on what happens between Spain and Albania for Italy they obviously want three points as well but they’ll probably be okay if they secure a draw as well and yes I fumbled yet another Croatia prediction Croatia have simply been one of the most underwhelming sides in this Euro campaign losing to Spain 3-0 blowing that 2-1 lead against Albania they’ve only gone one point so far and in that match against Albania they really looked hopeless at times at the beginning Albania definitely were the better side Croatia definitely gained the momentum again once they created that comeback play with a lot more energy and passion connecting the dots once more but then they lost the groove once again defensively and Albania took advantage I hate to say it but one of my favorite players Luca MRI had an absolute disaster class at the beginning of the Albania match and some other players are looking really poor as well including brovich so I think doic definitely needs to implement some new starting 11 going into this match maybe even getting rid of Shalo as he has been a liability in the back line now for Italy’s case I’m seeing many people argue that they have been underwhelming as well they defeated Albania unlike Croatia but Albania definitely made it close with them and they kept it closer with Spain than Croatia have but Spain G just simply weren’t as clinical compared to the Croatia match both sides definitely pessimistic going into this match actually I’m very pessimistic I believed in Croatia too much in this hero campaign I said in my predictions that they would top this group 100% not happening anymore like I said Spain already secured that first place spot Croatia will be lucky to get second or third now Croatia have the reputation of finding a away many times recently but right now it’s just simply not looking good I want to believe in them of course and I’m truly hoping I’m wrong on this but but I think it’s going to end in a draw Italy holding off Croatia it finishes nil nil this will mean Croatia definitely do not advance to The Knockouts as they haven’t gotten a single win but it does keep them that reputation of never losing to Italy since they have become independent regardless potentially Italy are the ones celebrating at the end I obviously want to believe in my national team but they just keep letting me down and I feel like I’m jinxing them at this point so I’m hoping they Clin second or third with a win but I’m saying they finish third with zero wins it breaks my heart but let’s just move on to group C now this group is in a very interesting situation England are at the top but many people are not convinced with their display so far narrowly beating Serbia and drawing with Denmark Denmark and slovania are at second and third both with two points undefeated but also no wins and Serbia are in last place with one draw and one loss so there are so many possibilities as to what’s going to pan out on the final match day it’s also interesting to mention that no side has scored more than one goal in each of the matches so far let’s start off with Denmark versus Serbia Denmark Mark just coming off of that one-1 draw with England like I mentioned they also Drew 1-1 to Slovenia against Slovenia they were the ones to concede later on and against England they were the ones to score later on with the hman Banger despite England being critiqued a bunch for their performances lately I still think it’s definitely a massive point for them to be able to draw against England it’s helping them out a lot and I think it will set course to build confidence against Serbia now for Serbia I’m surprised as well I predicted initially that this side will finish last place in their group cuz their defense was looking awful for so along now their defenses seem to somewhat step up but they are locking the goals I was expecting a lot more high-scoring matches for Serbia where we see mitro and vlahovich get on the score sheet multiple times but then the defense lets them down complete opposite both miic and vlahovich haven’t got on the score sheet whatsoever Luka yovic was the one to equalize against slovania in the dying seconds that draw against slovania is obviously keeping Serbia alive in this tournament and will boost their hopes but I’m still just not convinced in the football they’ve been playing obviously against England it was going to be a tough task but against Vania I think they did show throughout the match at moments that they were looking weak in some departments mitovich was not as clinical of a finisher reasons to be pessimistic about Denmark as well after their disappointing World Cup 2022 campaign they did not really look the same since and somewhat lack some confidence compared to the last Euro tournament but a running theme in Europe specifically is they get the job done at the end it happened with the Euro qualifiers where they were going neck and neck with the other teams in their group they ended up topping it and again in the last yearo tournament they were trailing but then they defeated Russia on the final match day so of course I’m rooting for Serbia in this fixture but I do think Denmark will advance I’m going to say it’s a kg match where Denmark are only able to beat Serbia 1 nil truly best of luck to Serbia but I’m sorry the reputation is just flopping in the group stage for all the major International tournaments they qualify for I do think their first yearo will end in disappointment but we shall see best of luck to them moving on to England versus Slovenia England without a doubt the clear favorites but Slovenia have put off some very good fights and got unlucky in their matches against Denmark and Serbia at moments this country are still searching for their first ever Euro Victory and it’s going to be tough to do so against England as England are obviously an incredible side on paper and if they lose to England even if they do get that third place spot they are most likely out as they would have no wins and two points England definitely playing boring Southgate football as many people like to call it scoring that early goal and not doing much after also the substitutes he’s leaving out are definitely questionable Cole Palmer hasn’t gotten a single minute at the Euros yet and he was one of the top goal scorers in the Premier League last season so it’s criminal and slovania have proven that they are not going to go down easy so maybe we could see them absolutely upset England but I am going to go for England doing it in Southgate fashion once again 1 nil maybe we could see slovania pull a Denmark in comeback later on but I do see England finishing this group undefeated so maybe they can take some positives out of the group stage that will leave the standings the exact same as how they were left off England first place Denmark second Slovenia third most likely not qualifying for the next round Serbia fourth Slovenia at at this tournament are the least populated country and we have seen the least populated country defeat England not too long ago so we’ll see if it can happen again but England for me are topping the group moving on to the group D matches starting off with France vs Poland again a quick refresher on the group stage France and Netherlands Drew in the last match nil nil so they both sit at the top with four points and Poland were defeated to Austria so they sit at last place in the group with two losses so yeah things ended up being unfortunate for Poland as they were looking to build their hopes up for this tournament after ASO qualifier campaign under Fernando Santos probers looked to be promising for the team but he picked up his first two losses as Poland manager in this competition truly unfortunate they played well in some moments especially against Netherlands it’s obviously going to be the toughest task to beat a side like France on the final day and even if they do get a win in this match it would result in nothing still a fourth place finish now for France situation they did look a bit wasteful against Netherlands I was surprised with how many opportunities Griezmann blew in that match mbappe on the bench obviously did not help them be more electric up top and still not sure if he’ll face Poland but I still think France have what it takes to defeat this side with quite a convincing score line I feel like they’re going to get back into momentum they started off a bit slow only scoring one goal so far in this campaign but I think now is the time for them to shine and for people to potentially take them as contenders once again to win the tournament as a lot of people have seemed to write them off quickly after those last two matches but we got to keep in mind they played a tough opponent Netherlands and Austria were no pushovers in this group this is one of the most difficult groups in the the tournament if not the most difficult I think France that what it takes to get a bigger win here and I’m going to go for 3-1 despite Poland playing with a lot of heart I think that things are going to start sinking for them once again and I mean they did lose 3-1 to Austria as well friends also will have a lot to play for as they are battling for that top spot in this Euro group as they share points with the Netherlands right now but moving on to that other matchup Netherlands vs Austria Netherlands played very well against France they had a goal diss allowed an incredible strike from chavy Simmons denied because dumre potentially interrupted y’s opportunity to make the save I don’t really bu it to be honest but it is what it is without a doubt Netherlands put off a fantastic fight did get lucky a few times of course with griezmann’s Misses in that match but still they have shown that they are a threat to this competition but Austria have as well they lost to France narrowly and got a more convincing score line against Poland Netherlands without a doubt on paper are the favorites in this match but I said at the beginning that Austria were my dark coures of the tournament I still think they have what it takes to surprise in this group but even with how things stand right now if Austria are able to get the upset against Netherlands they will both qualify at the end as Netherlands already have four points in this group in my initial prediction I had Austria at second above Netherlands with both of them still qualifying I am tempted to go against that now because Netherlands are definitely playing some convincing football very cool to see frong play at right wing he was absolutely dangerous there it’s going to be bold but I will stick with my initial prediction I’m not going for the favorite in this match and I’m saying Austria defeat Netherlands 1 n just my quote unquote surprise of the group but but of course I will not be surprised if Netherlands end up winning like I said they are the favorites in this match moving on to group E starting off with Slovakia versus Ukraine these two underdogs of the group very much impressed in match day one both grabbing a win when many did not expect them to but then in the second match they they both lost Slovakia had the lead against Ukraine but Ukraine ended up making a comeback and this time Belgium did find the shooting boots unlike their match against Slovakia they were able to score two goals against Romania and this leaves the group wide open as every single one of these teams has three points so if one of these sides manag to draw one another all of them will finish the group with four points each that would be a ridiculous outcome but I’m going to go for at least one winner in one of these matchups so it’s an absolute headache to try to figure out what’s going to happen here because everything’s been going back and forth for all these sides and now the two sides most people ruling out in this group are coming up head-to-head both Slovakia and Romania I think definitely have strong defensive units Belgium are great side of course so it’s not the most massive surprise that they were able to score two goals against Romania but prior to that match Romania were able to hold loads of clean sheets Romania despite conceding two to Belgium and scoring none they definitely put off a good fight still we’re creating loads of chances throughout the match and were not able to be clinical and it goes the same for Slovakia against Ukraine I think this matchup is really a flip of a coin at this point both sides have really surprised the public and they’re going to go all out in this match to make a stance every single outcome I think is a 33% chance of happening win draw or loss between these two countries it’s interesting as if they draw one another and Belgium beat Ukraine then both of them will potentially advance to the round of 16 I have no idea who to favor for here so you know what I’m going to say that is the outcome this match finishes 1 moving on to the other match though Belgium versus Ukraine very interesting one Ukraine are in a very unfortunate situation after getting hammered 3-0 to Romania they sit at the bottom of the group even with all these Sid sharing three points as obviously Belgium are also the favorites of the this group so many are expecting Belgium to be the ones to advance over Ukraine of course we could see a miracle here but I think Ukraine really shot themselves in the foot losing to Romania that early barely squeezing through against Slovakia as well I think it’s going to be too tough for them against Belgium who have seen to pick up the pace once again I think Belgium will solidify that first place stance and they are able to defeat Ukraine 2-n this would mean my final standings consist of Belgium first place Romania second Slovakia third Ukraine fourth and moving on to the final group group F starting off with Georgia versus Portugal George off put off an interesting display against turkey in the first matchday despite losing they showed character out there and again against Czech Republic if finish in a draw Georgia could have got a last second goal to win the match and that would have been one of the best moments of this hero so far Unfortunately they failed and they sit at last place at the bottom with Czech Republic sharing points and it doesn’t look to be getting any better as they have to face Portugal now Portugal similar to Spain have already seced cured a first place spot so maybe they won’t try it as hard in this match not play their strongest lineup Georgia will be looking to give it their all as they still do have a chance as if they beat Portugal they could potentially qualify for the Knockouts it’s such a steep hill man of the match for sure against Czech Republic was marad but he needs to count on his side to score the goals and they lacked that threat against Czech Republic and even if Portugal don’t play their strongest lineup I don’t see it happening I see them putting off a good fight going out with this Euro in honor but they still will lose this match 3-1 similar to how it went against turkey but moving on to the next match turkey versus Czech Republic this one is very interesting to analyze Czech Republic like I just showed are in a very bad situation with no win so far one draw one loss definitely should have beaten georgean there and I have no idea what his situation is because I’m recording this such last minute but Patrick schik did go off with a slight injury against Georgia so I have no idea if he will be participating against turkey but speaking of players who fail to particip iate in match day two turkey put off a shocking lineup against Portugal no mer Arlo guler or Kenan yelis in the starting 11 along with changing their goalkeeper who is partially at fault for one of the worst own goals we have seen in the tournament I truly think montella’s decisions were shocking for his lineup and the score line showed Portugal demolished them 3-0 there were moments turkey looked to put off a good fight but I think it could have been much better maybe there was something going on behind the scenes I don’t know and I heard that he was hesitant to play Arthur guler as he didn’t want to risk some injury but he still put him on after 70 minutes being 3-0 down like he was going to score a hattrick in 20 minutes I think this match is a flip of a coin as although the match between Georgia and Czech Republic finished in a draw Czech Republic definitely created loads of chances they were just frustrated with georg’s Incredible goalkeeper unfortunately turkey have shown that defensively they are not always intact but they love to play their attacking football anything’s possible but I’ll stick with my initial prediction of turkey being able to secure second place say they’re able to just beat Czech Republic 21 well there you have it guys those are all of my match day 3 Euro 2024
