Soutgate has got us to a quarter finals, Semi finals and the FINAL in three of the last tournaments. I would like to think we still have some faith in him.
Tell you what. How about… put our nations most technically gifted player in the middle of the park and get the ball to him. Tell Bellingham he isnt the 2nd comming of Ferenc Puskรกs and his job is to get the ball to Foden and Kane instead of keeping hold of it and showboating before losing it.

They have to break free of the managers tactics and try to play the football that they do for their clubs. self manage/ manage the team on the pitch. Its reminds me of the Argentina team back in 2018. If the team don't really believe in the Manager or at least feel that he motivates them the way their club manager does then its very difficult. In a way they'd be better off without a manager lol
I forgot which team but one manager sent a player home coz he was blasting on call of duty on his PlayStation late at night. Meanwhile England lads are spending more energy in media interviews than on the training ground.
So far they are not showing they can get past the next phase if they play like they have they will go out. They have to put their performance right and give the fans something to cheer about.
