P2 in Jonny Williams’ list of all-time favourite WilliamsF1 GPs is the 2003 Monaco Grand Prix. Ralf Schumacher took the pole and led from the start; but it was his Williams team-mate, Juan Pablo Montoya – a driver who made it to F1 thanks in large part to Jonny – who nursed his BMW engine through to win the most famous race of them all.
With special thanks to Peter Nygaard and Grand Prix Photo.
Special thanks, too, to Jonathan Williams.

Who is the girl with the helmet at the end of the video? Monty's sister maybe?
It's sad and comical at the same time that Pastor Maldonado will be Williams' last ever grand prix winner. 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Montoya, another proper Williams driver.
Down to BMW
I miss JPM badly…
Great history/story. BUT the music is a little too loud. Stay safe!!!
Another great video Peter and so interesting to hear Jonathan talking, he should do more as his enthusiasm and knowledge makes great listening.
JPM began to outshine Ralf almost from the start. When Ferrari had interest in JPM, Michael was having none of it.
Too bad, that would have been epic in identical cars
Really loved Montoya in his Williams days. Great guy!
I feel JPM was the last true racing driver in F1, and he came just a few years too late. The cars are no longer driven, rather, they’re managed around the circuit. If he were racing in the 80’s or 90’s he’d have been a great champion.
JPM <3
Great Looking car.
Before Juan went to F1, I knew he was going to be great. He was in complete control on the streets of Toronto.
