  1. Eddie wants to keep callum but if he wants to go and play more (if he actually can) it will be a bottom six team who'll buy him cheap. West ham surely wouldn't be stupid enough to buy him at 32 yrs old.

  2. Also, if Wilson goes to West Ham, he gets to be with his “bessie oppo” Michail Antonio, and then they can do their podcasts together from the physio’s suite/hospital/subs bench (delete as applicable).

  3. Sell sell sell! Wilson's legs have retired! His idea of counter pressing is pointing to his team mates. He can only score and only from 10 meters or less. DCL is a huge upgrade on Wilson, hard working, pressing, good in the air, good hold up play.

  4. Yankubah Minteh is the kind of player that if you keep them in your squad, they are going to make the plays that put your team into the champions league spots. = millions and millions. You sell him, you kill the goose that lays the golden egg. And like you say, keeping the comparative turkey that is Almiron would be CRIMINAL. I have never seen a sack of cash put a decent right cross in or smash a shot in from twenty yards.

  5. If minteh goes then the club are having a laugh. Move miggy to saudi for 20 million if we need to balance the books. If we loose minteh and we start the season with miggy or Murphy at right wing i will loose my shit. Minteh could be a future superstar and if the club are that weak willed and want to sell our best young prospects then the direction of the club neexs to be questioned.

  6. These transfers make sense to me …wilson replaced with someone younger for same money, FfP helped by trading players, Minteh is being so over hyped but we will have buy back clauses and profit percents included in deal, kilman coning in to leave the sqaud depth great for years..that then leaves a star signing for the right wing

  7. So who is in charge of transfers at the no? Isi it Eales, Staveley or Howe? All I see is underwhelming headlines everywhere. Does Wilson want out? If so that maybe why DCL is in the frame but, honestly we seem to be slipping back to the Ashley years. Surely for the money(transfermarkt have DCL at 35 mills) we could get better? But as we have no Europe this year the squad as it stands is good enough for top six, we just need better 2nd string or 1st string upgrades with the likes of Miggy dropping down the order

  8. The guy who had the vision to turn Joelinton into one of the biggest beast midfielders in the country, is the same guy who – it would seem – doesn't think Minteh has what it takes. Maybe, just maybe, he (Minteh) isn't actually as good as we think?

Has anyone actually watched Minteh, over a prolonged period? 30 full games, for example, like i'm pretty sure eddie and hisnstaff would have, or are we just basing all this off 3-minute YouTube compilations?

Really hope some of these Championship Manager supporters genuinely do follow through on their 'I'm done if Minteh leaves' threats. No problem, go support someone else.

  9. Dortmund are experts in spotting young talent and rarely get it wrong. If they're prepared to pay that much money for minteh then he is going to be class. We'll regret this. Such a short sighted deal that only makes sense to commercially minded business people.

  10. more likely Minteh to Everton than Dortmund i saw. Dortmund only wanted a loan. Newcastle said no to it they want a permanent transfer. Everton move more likely Calvert Lewin to Newcastle back up to Alexander Isak
