I would like to add that this guy is a genius.. he can trick opponents with extremely simple leg movement or should I say he make them look so simple and easy. He is capable of making quick decisions, quick and accurate passes and he can make a complete fool of the opponent with his "De jong/xavi turn". I love him and I hope xavi could help him win at least one ballon'dor

honestly……. the guy is performing pretty well but there are 2 things that is going wrong for de jong in barca:
1) de jong is a gifted number 5(cdm) with astounding ability to pass or take the ball forward but at barca there already is Busi who is irreplaceable.
2) for the above reason he has to play as a number 6(cm/rcm) which requires you to be a box-to-box midfielder in addition to goals in your tally which isn't de jong's forte.
Although he performs remarkably as a box-to-box midfielder, he isn't confident infront of goal which we see repeatedly as he passes the ball where he could have gone for goal.
Every player has their fare share of weaknesses and you can't demand a LB to play as a CAM(out of context) but this doesn't mean the player is bad. De Jong will be one of the leaders of this team once he starts playing in his preferred position after Busi retires.
As we all CULES say, Have PATIENCE with this team 🙏
