Keep sander berge could the Canadian handle the championship
Watched Kone play this season in MLS Cup Playoffs, and the best description is "raw talent". He feels like a MGW-type when it comes to flair and skill. He will need to be worked/trained on how to play in a structured side like SUFC.
Norwood would benefit from having an athletic player who also has flair ability next to him. Osborn puts in the shift but has a limited ability to dictate the game going forward. Fleck has limited athletic ability but better play making skill. He'd probably push fleck and osborn out eventually. I'd love a 3 man midfield consisting or Norwood, Doyle, konรฉ.
Eyup Nick and Hal. I would like to see United bring Ismael Kone to Bramall Lane through the next transfer window even if it means Sander Berge being part of the deal to bring him to the lane. Sander is a fantastic footballer when he is at his game, but most of the time he just seems to vanish into thin air during a game. Should and if any new players come through the doors next year it's highly possible that they would be sitting the rest of the season out recovering from injuries the way things are unluckily going at the moment in that department. Just to be more and very controversial, I wouldn't mind a really good Center Half in place of Egan signing up for the Blades. A Worrying thought – if United were to win promotion back to the Premiere League how would we cope with the likes of the Premier Leagues big boys these days. New and good players would definitely have to be signed, but can we attract and will the chairman ( all quiet on that front ) provide sufficient funds to get us established in the BIG Business League. Better not get ahead of ourselves we need to focus on turning up at the next fixture and bagging Three points before the up and coming strange World Cup break this season. โ๏ธUTBโ๏ธ โบ๏ธ
With all the injuries piling up, I can ONLY see Kone as an addition to a skilful midfield. Sander is a Rolls Royce of a midfielder and when he is on form, one of the best midfielders in the Championship. Maybe Kone has potential to be even better, but will need careful nurturing to reach the heights. A great place to start would be Sheffield United, but purely as a purchase and not a replacement. UTB

Konรฉ isn't the next Alphonso Davies. He's a very different profile. When he receives the ball, he has an incredible ability to quickly turn and progress the ball up the pitch. He has so much composure on the ball for a young player and dribbles/passes out of pressure with ease. His defensive positioning is sometimes off and he also disappears for periods during the game but when he's on, he's a match winner.
