The players are all on the Southgate "no blame on us" bandwagon. There is no accountability, they play with lots of fear and Southgate has never changed his way of playing. He actually stated before 2018 in Russia that he had studied how sides win tournaments and he has built his blueprint on that ever since. That blueprint is boring attritional football that aims to not lose games. It doesn't work Gareth when your defence and midfield are being dominated. Gareth should have been removed from his position after the world cup, he's only still there because he's so passive and the FA don't want someone to challenge them!
