so England have drawn their second match at Euro 2024 one all it is finished against denark Harry Kane gave England the lead before Morton hulman scored his first International goal a brilliant strike from distance in off the post in their first half from the sporting list midfielder but there be some things up ran I know you’re staying with us but ultimately was that not good enough from England no overall I think everyone will be disappointed with that um The Players the manager but like I said it’s not the end of the world you know we still have four points now we going to the going to the last game and you know we have to do a job there as well overall then what would it be that concerned you most from that performance I think lack of Direction I think lack of um perhaps tactic clear principle I think we were deep we never addressed that um even with the halftime break we needed to get higher it it was it was obvious to that there was space in behind to exploit them spaces I don’t think the the change was needed to bring Watkins on to naturally expose that space I feel Kane could have done that with instruction although Watkins if he didn’t feel that way could have been brought on earlier then so yeah uh quite concerning in the whole overall tactic and principles of the of the game when we look at some of the Personnel a lot of discussion about Trent Alexander Arnold pre-match do you think that’s an experiment we might not see again against Slovenia for sure I think uh I think we it’s a lot different um I think I said earlier coming into the mid field building them patterns from fullback you know is a lot easier than being stationed in Midfield you have to have uh there’s a lot more demand to the the position that need to be need to be worked out and ultimately that showed to what extent do you balance it now and if you’re a player in that dressing room and the manager too between saying look it’s a long tournament no one wins a Euros in the first two group games but you want to see a little more in terms of encouragement to suggest that England can go on and Win It for sure and I think it’s how they address it over the next two days it is tournament football you’d rather it’s not how you start it’s how you finish so to speak so look it’s important like you give credit to Denmark today they done very well and um but as an England player and fan now I think you regroup together in the camp say look it hasn’t gone how we wanted it I think it’s very clear what we need to improve on and and that’s a blessing in its own so hopefully we can address them situations and you know have a better game on uh on the next game [Music]

Over hype players, England players are not good
The truth is that other than Bellingham and Foden England have bang average players or at best good players unproven at international levels. Saka and Kane used to be good but are well below their best. Gallagher isn’t that good in the prem. Denmark v England are always tight close games and the reason why is because they are about the same level. France Spain Italy etc are a league above. Thats just the simple historical truth.

i’ve watched hundreds of games where a team has had the ball the whole game and loads of chances and then at the end the other team pops up and bangs in a winner with only one chance the whole match
the difference between denmark and england was they have a team all use to playing together and we’re still a work in progress
and their whole country is behind them win lose or draw

That said, it really shouldn't hurt that much to say out loud that Foden, Bellingham, and Kane attacking exactly the same space at the same time and neither one of them doing sod all to help the others is completely useless. It's like watching three clowns take turns running into a brick wall. And that lack of proper role assignment does everybody a disservice, making them look like much worse players than they are.
