Portugal debuted with excitement until the end in Euro 2024. With a goal in injury time of the second half, the Portuguese team came from behind to defeat the Czech Republic 2-1 in the 1st round of Group F. After a goalless first half, the Czechs opened the scoring with a stunning goal from Provod in the 62nd minute. Seven minutes later, Portugal equalized with an own goal. The comeback was completed in the final minutes with a goal from Francisco Conceição in the 92nd minute.
