      Yep, Martinez threw away belgiums best ever side

      Thats a fact, they had a good collection of players, who should of been able to perform in big games, and they just never did it

      Wasted that generation that is now gone

      He has no real pressure at portugal

      But he certainly had a chance to make belgium into a good side and failed. That belgium side should of won something with there overall quality on the pitch, and they just showed yet again they do not know how to do it at this level.

      Martinez has no real pressure on him now in portugal job

      He was under pressure in belgium job, as they were expected to do it in belgium, and they really should of won at least 1 event with that generation of players he managed.

      Just remember that belgium side was better then england, they beat england twice in 2018 world cup, even though all you lot speak up southgates england.

      For the players Martinez had in charge of belgium they most definitely underperformed

      No doubts have i, that in belgium they think they wasted there golden generation of players

      That belgium team had real players, not like southgates england, who they beat twice in 2018 world cup

      Martinez is a nice guy, but that also leads to him lacking a backbone. Obviously CR still has the the potential to be a matchwinner, yet in the event he doesn't perform over the course of the tournament then I'm certain he wouldn't have the courage to drop him. Portugal have a very good group of players, but with him as manager I think they will fall short, given his tactical flaws.

      The disrespect Simon gives Martinez is outrageous. He’s an owner who loves old school pragmatic bog standard sit in a block and defend deep British managers Neil Warnock, Tony Pardew, David Moyes Sean Dyche and Roy Hodgson ..
      Non of these guys are innovative attacking adventurous or play a brand of exciting want to watch football …

      Awful manager whos had great players and done absolutely nothing with them.
      Martinez would not get a top 10 team in the Premier league.
      All the best managers are at clubs all the managers no one wants are managers of international teams
