      Iran didn't need any head coach but to play unitedly and like italy style of play they just need to concentrate on defense line ups and finally i say playr like Tarimi Jhaanbaksh and Azmoon are really talented

      Shame on those people who do not talk about the violence against Iranian women on the game day. Women who went to the stadium to watch a football match; instead, police used pepper spray to prevent them from going to the stadium.

      I think despite common belief, we have problem in scoring goals not defence. We miss a lot of opportunities and that can cost us the game like the south korea game. At the beginning of the match, haj safi missed a golden chance, then sayyad manesh missed another one toward the end.. azmoun also.. scoring those could mean a win.

      Bring back Queiroz now that Egypt has not qualified! It’s not too late to salvage things to be back to the way they once were. Players get too emotional on the pitch & play less organized lately. They need discipline & defense

      Please do not forget brave women’s enthusiasm for football matches who are deliberately denied by dreadful and backward despot autocrats who fears of women in stadium ! If not fear what would be then ?????

      skocic doesnt have a big ego and realy wants the job with every beat of his heart. Do i think hes a good coach, no. Can he get us any game plan till the WC, maybe. Did he deserve to coach iran after almost get elimated against BAHRAIN and IRAQ who we always struggled against with CQ, yes! Iranian fans need to move on and be more realistic. CQ is history, stop living in the past. Skocic is maybe the best we can get. He and his staff have enough time to train the team well, lets see what they are up to.

      Thanks Art. This was a game of two different halves for Iran. Coach S made good adjustments which led to more productive and fluid offense in the second half. And Taremi’s importance to this team and eventual qualification is amazing. Taremis absence was badly felt against SK particularly and Lebanon. The Duo of Taremi and Azmoun is special and self feeding, this is especially important when our midfield is not able to provide the needed service for our finishers like the game against Lebanon. Kanani was outstanding and his two assists world class. Also our D needs to be solidified and tested against stronger opponents in preparation for WC. Center D is not as much of concerns as R and L backs. We have achieved our goal of WC qualification but now it’s show time on the biggest stage. Much more work to be done needless to say till the WC.

      The head coach that Iran is looking for is Skocic himself.
      He is a good strategist and reads the game well.
      He is open to take advises from his assistants and creates great atmosphere for his players during the training sessions.
      He is a bit inexperienced when it comes to facing big opponents, but that can be solved with good friendly matches over the next few months.
