Ian Wright talks so much rubbish. Why can't Kane be subbed when he's clearly tiring and ineffective, and there are two in-form Premiership strikers on the bench? It's like 'Wrighty' is being paid to stand up there and talk rubbish in support of obvious favouritism in team selection.
Foden has never performed for England, and no it is not down to his position. Even when playing as an LW on paper, he drifts central and Bellingham and whoever is playing LB make up the difference. And yet Southgate subs Saka and Bellingham but leaves Foden and Kane, both of which were shite on the night. Southgates England is hilariously bad

I’d bench Foden and start a proper winger on the left – either Eze or Gordon. I’d also start Mainoo or Gallagher over Trent in midfield. Trent isn’t a midfielder. Having a balanced team is much more important than forcing all your best players in to the starting XI.

Foden's allowed an OFF night….. would someone point out an England game where Foden had an ON night? I don't understand how the kid gets picked, he does very little, that I notice when I watch England play, and I watch pretty much every international. He doesn't have the same impact as he does for City, and as a City player I like his movement and his contribution to City's play, and I am not a City fan. For England I just don't see anything from him, that for me justifies his place.
