Maddison is hopeless. He never stood a chance of getting on the plane. He had an abysmal season for Spurs.
Dave is decent in the youtube, set videos format but live his voice and tone does not fit. Poor Jimmy man, looks beat!
You need players who can step up against top teams, Maddeers can do this and you know he can influence games. Bowen and Eze are just good players in average teams and unproven. Their time will come, but Madders was arguably the best English midfielder until his injury.

big mistake not having maddison, england lacks midfielders with vision and defense splitting passes from deep midfield, and he's also good under pressure, pretty handy against teams like Germany or spain

Well done, Gareth. On UKRGMP site the Maths Profs are very happy with Southgates squad. They say its better to take fully fit unscarred by past pen shoot out losses, Quansah – rather than Shaw (who is an injury risk who cud struggle in summer heat & will have scars from Euro21 loss to Italy).
