Dragan Stojkovik was a sensational footballer, possibly the most naturally gifted to come out of Eastern Europe.
Yet for all his star attributes, he is barely known in Britain.
Hopefully this video will give him more recognition!

  1. Imagine Dejan Savicevic was under his shadow in that Red Star team. What a player he was and what a Red Star generation that was!

  3. He does not like to stand in the spotlight and take the credit. He is more shy and a little withdrawn. He is called the Serbian Maradona and has had an incredible career especially in Japan. There he is synonymous with god. He is currently Serbia's national team coach and thanks to him, Serbia has qualified directly for Qatar 2022. His leadership ability and determination is his strong point. When they won against Portugal in Lisbon, he did not want to take the credit and he is not much for partying. He is very serious and goal-oriented.
