Weird deal. We'll see.
Luiz has been made the make-weight for this FFP enforced deal, thanks to this we can start spending/recruiting proper from 1st July – free from a points deduction threat.
Catastrophic deal. Attempting to tell us it's a £60m transfer with €20m (£17m) cash thereby valuing McKennie and Jr at £43m is ridiculous.
McKennie wouldn't fetch £15m for a straight purchase and Jr's value is around £15m though I accept given his age and potential someone may have paid £20m.
The transfer is worth £50m at most for Luiz.
Given Duran is going, We should have held off and waited until someone came along that actually had the cash.
Not that I don't like Jr or even McKennie but paying a straight fee, I think we could have signed both for sub £30m. Juve were actively trying to sell McKennie and were listening to offers for Jr.
Please never insinuate anyone could beat Bolt in a 100m race again.😂 It's akin to saying he's better than Messi at football. There are levels to that s**t. 😊
Acuña (if Moreno and Digne both go) and Jr would be a good pair of LBs next season particularly if Hermoso comes in as he can play there too.
Is Douglas Luiz happy to go to Juventus, feel like he is pushed out the club just for FFP?
