  1. This might be an unpopular opinion but Pedri is arguably on the same level as Jude Bellingham if not better when he’s fully healthy. It’s not just PR, the only reason sometimes it doesn’t get talked about enough is because or how many games he has missed in recent seasons and while he does have a lot of ability since he’s 21 years old, talent alone isn’t enough to cut it at the highest level because no matter how good a player is, you have to regularly play. There has been many factors that’ve contributed to his injuries as yes Barcelona and the Spain national team have responsibility to take due to the fact that at the age of 18, he was playing every game for club and country and he’s still feeling the impacts of that season where he was ran into the ground and you can see that he has to be managed much better.

He had another frustrating season with injuries, but in the last couple of weeks going into the EUROs, Pedri has been cooking up at the right time looking back to his best and we see glimpses of what he can do and he is an elite midfielder when he’s 100% fit, Barcelona just needs him to stay healthy and then you’ll get the best version of him next season because they’re a better team with him on the field. A lot of people look at goals and assists to judge the ability of a player, the way he influences a game is what makes him special because he’s a number 8 who’s more of a number 10 playing as an attacking midfielder behind the striker as he’s phenomenal at creating chances making key passes into the final third he’s so good on the ball he’s technically gifted gets out of tight spaces very well he’s composed and elegant and he plays like a guy who hasn’t even hit his prime. He has always passed the eye test with flying colors. After struggling with injuries in the last 18 months, he is going into the EUROs with a point to prove as with the Spain national team he looks hungry to have a great tournament and he can do that if he doesn’t get injured and playing alongside Rodri arguably the best number 6 in the world suits him well playing with a world class CDM who’s a deep lying playmaker and he can play even further in midfield in that number 8 role. He has to remain as a starter for Barcelona, obviously they’re going to manage Pedri as they can’t go into next season expecting him to play every game as they’re going to make sure that he gets some rest and doesn’t have a heavy workload and if that happens, I’m telling you he’s going to cook next season and will have a lot of confidence if he does well at the EUROs this summer.

  2. We don’t really need to sign a cdm
Gavi and frenkie should secure the double pivot , merino could be added but our priority should be the left wing because we don’t know the balde we would see next season but nico would really help relieve pressure off lewandowski and pedri, if we don’t sign nico then we could play Fermin at left wing Cus he has earned the starting position

  3. Pedri will learn and change a lot under Hansi Flick and I mean physically and mentally. All he needs is physicality and more intensity. If he adds this to his game he will give a lot of team headaches and I can't imaging him playing as a number 10 behind Lewandoski under Hansi Flick and the freedom he will enjoy.

  4. That's why I always say that if you want to see the real Pedri Barcelona signed, watch Pedri under Koeman, he was always smiling and his through balls were ridiculous. Xavi forced him to drop too much and he was limited on the ball too.

  5. Bro looking at the games Barca played against real Madrid in the past season especially in la Liga, and considering the fact that Barca was mostly without Gavi, pedri, Balde and Frenkie de Jong in those games, Barca is much closer to real Madrid than what people think. All things being equal, Barca will be at par with real Madrid next season if not better. Technically speaking, most Barca players are better than real Madrid players.

  6. All the Barcelona young players are great but you can't ask these players to play (38) plus league cup and CL games. Lamine Yamal (17) and Pau Cubarsí (17) will end up just like Pedri, Gavi and Ansu Fati. Their body not fully developed to play every game.

  7. Pedri is definitely better on the ball than Bellingham, Musiala and Wirtz. The difference is those 3 other guys have great stats and attack more. If Pedri continues to score the way he has been recently then he could 100% become better than all of those guys.
