Nottingham Forest were deducted points, and they weren't even that far out of PSR. They sold Johnson after the deadline, but could have sold him earlier at a reduced rate. What they should have done, is not bothered selling him at all, properly breaking financial fair play, they would have easily made the points up as Johnson would have been in the squad and they would have been better. Let's just break the rules, don't break them a little, if you gonna break them break them, get the best squad together that we can, take the points deduction and make it up as we would have the squad to do it. Considering how he performed when he joined Leeds on loan he "in my opinion" seemed like he was pretty overwhelmed by the pace of the Premier league! Also when he played he never really tried to impose himself on the majority of the games he was involved in, many people who disagree state that he underperformed due to the team he was playing in! For a club like juventus to sign him he's got to have something about him? But given the fact that he's only got 12 months left on his contract to be offering him in a swap deal with Luiz with only 25-30 million on top is absolutely ridiculous tbh!! Pointless, if we are selling Luiz it has to be for market value. I don't think he is indispensable but he is much too good to be a part of a swap deal. Ramsey, whatever we get will be solid profit. This is going to be the big earner for football clubs moving forward, selling their own products so it is what it is. Not nice but Villa have to move with the times.
