The England team should have been told to keep passing short and eventually the breakthrough would come. When players started doing long ball it was worse.

The reason England are shit is this 1) English players punch above their weight because of their grit and fighting spirit, which leaves them knackered. 2) Most English play in the English league which is far more physically demanding than the other leagues. 3) The silly money Premier league stars are on makes them more loyal to their clubs, hence the play in a lower gear. If England wants to win a cup, play the youth and the hungry players who've spent half the season on the bench.
Bellingham Kane Foden and that’s all what they have. Whit all respect for other players but those 3 are world class rest are just solid players. It will be really hard to win with Germany France Spain or Croatia
