I’ve always thought the San Francisco Giants hats were the coolest (not my team but that doesn’t stop me w sf hats)!
If we could land them both you’d have 5-9 years in those areas solidified
Onana’s Prem ready so that’s a huge pro, but Neves’ potential under Arteta sounds like something I’d really like to see.
If Arsenal will not go big and splash the cash on quality players then they are not ready to win tittles because Man City will not stop adding quality players to their ranks. They need to go big, pay the money for Bruno G. or Neves but to me Onana is never the way. If Arsenal don't go big then they are back to their old ways of doing things which will successfully lead to failure as usual. I pray they do the right thing eventually.
My wife family are all Everton fans. Having seen Onana on regularly, I know he is a big unit, but I dont really think he is anything special and definitely not Arsenal quality.
If money is no issue, Neves is the obvious choice imo

🔴 Joao Neves all day! If we are kinked with Bruno G then we may as well spend that money on Joao for me. Sensational talent and fot £100m its a 5 to 10 year investnent whilst onana is a stop gap and not good enough for our club and doesn't take us up a notch in my opinion. Good player but not enough.
Sell the english / hale end boys. Ramsdale, Eddie, ESR, Nelson, etc

I think if we're comparing these two players, both of whom will exceed 60m, then we must add Frenkie DeJong.
Out of the three, Onana would seem the better option. But despite his physicality, his passing range is an issue. Whereas Neves has the passing ability, but his lack of physicality is an obvious concern.
Comparing him to Christian Eriksen would show a player of his build can succeed but is severely limited in our defensive setup.
Where if fit DeJong is the ideal player, but his ongoing ankle injury is a major concern given his age and wages.
Jousseff Fofana does seem the ideal Thomas Partey replacement, especially considering his price tag of only 20m. But like Onana his passing range is definitely limited.
Xavi Simons for me should be our priority 21 years old. As versatile as DeJong and much more able to meet our defensive requirements.
If we could either sign him or loan him with an option to buy he is head and shoulders above any other options. 😊
Amadou Onana é o único que deveria ser cogitado para fazer parte do Meio Campo Gunners…. Onana deve ser prioridade… Perder essa chance de contrata-lo vai fazer os Gunners engarrafar os títulos novamente.
E sobre venda de jogadores do nosso plantel atual, deveria liberar Zinchenko, Fábio Vieira e Nketiah o mais rápido possível.
