There's not much of a point to just picking the big teams to win every duel. There will be about 2 major disappointing teams and 2 revelations. It's hard to predict those, I know, but it happens every tournament. Who would have thought Japan would knock out Germany? Who would have thought Morrocco would make the semi-finals?
I'm Belgian and Thibaut Courtois wasn't left out of the Belgium national team; he refuses to play due to a disagreement with the coach over the captaincy. After Kevin De Bruyne got injured, Tedesco handed the captain's armband to Romelu Lukaku. This led to a falling out, and now Courtois is not part of the team.
It's a shame for Thibaut to miss out on an international tournament because of his ego. You can only play a handful in a lifetime and there's no greater legacy than major success at the Euro's or World Cup. You can become a national hero.

Germany is prob finishing 1st in their group but I'm gonna say that if Germany fail in their EURO expectations, it will be because of the defence

One thing I've noticed from these Euro previews is that people have become more cautious when talking about Croatia. Realistically, this prediction is very fair to this team, but I can tell you for sure, it would be a failure in their eyes. Nothing short of winning the whole thing cuts it anymore. Two silver medals and a bronze in the last 6 years. Time for that gold medal to crown Modric's career. I've also seen reports that around 100 thousand Croatian fans are expexted to come to Berlin for the first game. Pay attention during the national anthem in that game against Spain, I can guarantee you the atmosphere will be scary for one side.
I think France vs. Germany as well. France is going to win.

I'm watching this as England are a goal down against Iceland. I don't know yet how far he thinks England will go but I can tell you now they won't get as far as he thinks.

Austria will be the underdogs. They are playing amazing under Rangnick. Rest of predictions seem bang on, but I see Austria finishing above Netherlands.

I have Ukraine or Switzerland as overachievers- Switzerland reminds me of the way Denmark was going into last euros, and Ukraine has a lot of talent, maybe not the same all around quality but they will surprise in a couple of games. Underachievers will be Portugal, Germany, and Italy- I could see none of them making the semis
