I think Italy will have it very very though. But, if Donnarumma, Bastoni, Dimarco, Barella, Chiesa, Pellegrini, Scamacca click and play at their very best, they could be a tricky team to face.
I personally favoured France and Germany. Not surprised if they meet in the Final. England are a serial bottlers. Missing out Maguire only left a big crisis for the defenders.

I hope your statement about germans not loving the german national team wasn’t just for the comments and it was a genuine question. Germans couldn’t be this good at football and always a contender to win a trophy if the love for football wasn’t enormous and whoever loves football loves to see their national team succeed.
To answer your question, Germans still like their Mannschaft but it has disappointed in all big tournaments since their world cup in 2014 … plus, exciting players like Musiala and Wirtz are still pretty young
Germany maybe lacking a little bit of pace in the starting line up. Of course, Gundogan, Wirtz and Musiala aren´t the quickest, but we have very quick substitutes like Führich, Sane or Beier

What is the point of talking about Italy? How are they in any sense better than Croatia at the moment? Worse defence, worse midfield, attack worse or the same. Either way you put it they have never been able to beat us either and I dont see that changing this time around.

Everyone is sleeping on Belgium, on the attacking front and midfield end THEY ARE DANGEROUS. Lukaku, Openda, Doku, Bakayoko, De Bruyne, Tielmans, Onana, Witsel… just to name a few. Perfect combo of experience, youth, and athleticism.
Say what u will but when u look at portugal, compared to others, they have it all, and then ronaldo in which alot of people have said he is not the greatest of helps but the reality is, if it was another player, who scored 50 goals this season and u got nobody even close to those numbers in that position… would u leave him out? He is not the ballon d or ronaldo, but he is still the best striker Portugal have.

Come on, guys! What these pundits are doing is absolutely hilarious. We all know that this shitty ESPN and their pundits are part of a propaganda machine! Their first task is to praise England. I’m a 37-year-old living in England and have been watching football since 1998. Whenever a major tournament starts, the media starts hyping England as favorites. Initially, it was just in the papers, but since the rise of social media, it has become horrendous!
They call England the favorites, but I haven’t seen any special performances from them in any crucial stages. Still, these pundits hype them up like crazy! Just because a player is in the EPL doesn’t mean they are world-class. I don’t know when these shitty pundits and media will learn anything from the past! The “It’s coming home” song is hilarious. They are simply writing Italians off from tournaments, especially in the Euros.
I’ve been watching the Euros since the 2000s, and there have been many ups and downs in football. The Italian team consistently performs well if they are in a tournament. In Euro 2000, the Netherlands were the favorites to win the tournament on their home soil, but the Italians beat them in the semifinals and then lost against France in the golden goal era. In 2004, It was against all odds. In 2008, they lost against the eventual champions Spain in penalties. In 2012, despite being one of the declining Italian teams, they reached the final, eliminating England in the quarterfinals and super-favorites Germany in the semifinals.
Even in 2016, the worst Italian team in history reached the quarterfinals and lost against the favorites in penalties, which was their first loss against Germany in a major tournament. In 2020, Italy won again against all odds. You can’t write off historical tournament teams like Germany, Italy, and now France. They do well in tournaments because, as the tournament progresses, they start believing that they can make it. Unlike perennial bottlers like England, I have never seen any special performance from England in a crucial match since 1998.
Before analyzing anything with authority, please do some homework.
