The club presented initial terms that would keep his wage similar to his current £120,000-a-week. However he wants £150,000-a-week.

Miz looking at the current midfield options I would argue that Jorginho should play every game as long as we are not versing a very physical and high pressing/tempo team such as Leeds where he (and the rest of the team tbh) got exposed. Rn Kante is still with the physios even though his injury would only be for 1 month max it has turned into 4 months, and Kova has been very inconsistent like in the game against Villa he kept misplacing passes and getting caught on the ball. Considering that Kante os the highest earner and is wanting 3 years I would argue that for 1/3 of the salary we should keep J5 unless the direction of the club is to completely revamp the midfield in which we should get rid of both.
Miz the player that was supposed to replace jorginho is Billy Gilmour and we let him go.

As a USMNT fan, a lot of us from CONCACAF can verify David is a low key solid player. He’s good as a striker or off ball striker, technically good in tight spaces, and an incredible finisher with experience of not getting much service. Also he presses up top and work rate is really good. He’s 22 so if Potter can mature him he will be a top player for sure. He’s already the top scorer in Ligue 1, above Messi, Mbappe, & Neymar.
Time to replace Jorginho/Kante with 2 of the following Rice/Bellingham/Fernandez/Caicedo/Alvarez

£150K for Jorginho is ridiculous. He must leave. He don't have the energy to run. He might got a good technical ability. But his time in Chelsea is up. No more of Jorginho. Experience or not his time is up.
