I wouldn’t call it “golden generation” just yet. I’d probably say “new beginning”, “new generation” or something on that order. Golden generation suggests they’ve achieved something. For me “golden generation” was Xavi, Iniesta, Messi, Pique, Pedri, Puyol etc. Not only were they all graduates of La Masia, but they went on to achieve a lot of things thus “golden”.
Nonetheless, this is a great episode with lots of info and fascinating anecdotes. Keep it up 👍🏾
i wanna say i truly appreciate this channel. i love the fact that your analysis is always from a mature perspective and you keep your emotions in check. keep up the good work !!
These young players needs a really good manager knows how to develop them to achieve the highest level.
You're the man, Dan! I appreciate all the work you put into these videos! Keep it up!
I may not even agree with everything said, but the maturity of this channel is SUCH, a breath of fresh air.
When you look at the overall list, it is rather unique. Araujo had doubters within the organization, because he lacked technical ability on the ball. Mingueza wasn’t even first choice at Barca B, at the time he was called up. Dest wasn’t even first choice for Ten Hag, when he was signed last year. Pedri came from Las Palmas.
Garcia does better for Spain, in part, due to the pace of international football being slower than at club level. He lacks natural pace, size and physicality. So, he has to make up for it with positional awareness and instincts. However, still being a young player, his positional awareness is okay, but his one on one technique and reaction time can be lacking. It may take him 2 more years.
Eric Garcia???
He should play in Barca B and work up his way to the First team
You said in a 2 year old video that araujo wont be a world class def and now he the best def of our team
I can't imagine what ten Haag would do with this squad. Honestly I can take a whole year of koeman just for a proper 3-5 years re build with ten Haag and followed up with Xavi
