The A League needs to capitalise on the success of the Mariners and the final series we just witnessed. The scenes were incredible. I’m angry that NRL and AFL don’t want to see the A League succeed. I say stuff them. Come out in numbers next season and support the League. Content like this also drives interest and captures attention. The press champion NRL and AFL while trying to smother the A League out of existence. Don’t let it happen. The A League needs to understand the numbers registered to play Football (soccer) are huge. People have an appetite for it in this country. The A League just needs to shove the A League front of stage and get people talking about it. Even the news networks went gaga for the scenes seen in Gosford recently. They keep saying they are on the brink of financial problems, but I say they are on the brink of something special and long lasting if the right decisions are made right now! Capture whatever happened in Gosford that night and bottle it and use it to move forward.
So many heroes in that squad and dugout.
Jacko and Vuka typify what the club and community is about.

Was an insane game to be in I’ve had hardcore rugby league fans say to me the atmosphere in that game looked intense. Unfortunately I don’t mariners will ever get another gf at Gosford but if we don’t what a night to remember
