  1. In my opinion regardless of the fitness issues that they have and uncertainty over their which starting lineup they’ll choose, it doesn’t matter because England has no excuses if they don’t win the EUROs this summer. Going into this tournament Harry Kane Jude Bellingham Phil Foden Bukayo Saka Ollie Watkins Cole Palmer Declan Rice Kobbie Mainoo etc have all been in incredible form and when we talk about England best XI, there’s room for one of those players alongside Kane Saka Bellingham Foden and Rice. With the way he finally dropped Jordan Henderson and others for underperforming, he shown a ruthlessness about himself where he cares about winning now not favoritism picking players who did well for him in the past when they’ve been out of form or haven’t played in months.

This will be a constant selection headache for Gareth Southgate given the plethora of talent that they have, they’re more than good enough to at least make it deep in this competition and win it all since they have so many good players it’s a mix of youth and experience and the only players on that team that have experience of regularly winning trophies is the Manchester City players because they win a trophy once every couple of months in a year. Yes they have a lot of talent, but when you watch this England team they’re not as convincing or impressive as you think it is. They don’t wow me whenever they play as apart from a couple of players or 2, they’re not that good on paper and I think you all need to hear this. You look at the names they have and go like wow they have great players, as I’ve said before that doesn’t mean that their team is good. I still don’t think that this group of talented players has the right manager that can truly bring out the best in their abilities and that’s what you need individual talent alone isn’t enough. The weakest link of their team is the defense because John Stones and Harry Maguire are key prone and Luke Shaw their only recognized left back is facing a race to be fit before their first game and their only alternatives if he isn’t fit enough to start is Kieran Trippier and Joe Gomez. In midfield and attack, you have to get the right balance between the 2 depending on what team you play against as you have enough quality in those positions to cause other teams problems. Every international tournament we always say that “It’s Coming Home” for England only for them to come so close yet so far and they shouldn’t keep Gareth Southgate if he can’t win the EUROs and he doesn’t have an excuse if he fails to do so.

  2. England are fourth best…France, Germany, and even Portugal have a better chance. England historically win nothing and this lot won’t change that.

  3. When France played Argentina in the world cup finals, I couldn’t convince my mum that was a French team, she keeps saying that is one African country playing I still can’t get over that😂

  4. France’s squad is perfectly set up to win the EUROs in the summer. In the past in major tournaments, they’ve relied heavily on superstars and this was a blueprint for them in winning trophies and not only do they have a genuine superstar who’s a Ballon Dor contender, their squad is very deep as well and they’re expected to go all the way this time around after coming so close to winning back to back World Cups. In a team of good players they have a proper manager in Didier Deschamps. They have great players, you can argue that again it’s another team that isn’t that good on paper due to the strength of their squad and individual brilliance with the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Antoine Griezmann, barring any injury to those 2 superstars, I don’t see what can stop them. They’re a team that doesn’t need to be at their best to win because they can get outplayed since they have very good game management they’re able to come away with a win and of late France are like the Real Madrid of international football.

Mbappe is on another level whenever he plays for his country and we’ve seen that in him in recent tournaments and Griezmann on the other hand has been their most important player of late and he is genuinely irreplaceable as a CAM. Whether will play alongside them in attack will be interesting to see as they’re their only 2 guaranteed starters as Olivier Giroud is now 37 years old, Ousmane Dembele is inconsistent at best, Kingsley Coman as well has struggled with injuries, Randal Kolo Muani is a better player for his country than he is with his club, he’s had such a disappointing debut season at PSG and I don’t know if Deschamps fully trusts Marcus Thuram to be their starting striker. France continues producing world class midfielders because Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchuoameni are absolutely special. Defense can be a bit of an issue for them and it has been of late, they have so many options in that position to a point where William Saliba one of the best CBs in the world won’t even start as Ibrahima Konate is ahead of him in the pecking order and even though he’s had his issues at club level in the last 18 months, Dayot Upamecano is one of the first names on the team sheet for his country. They have a couple of glaring weaknesses that Deschamps has to sort out, but with France not only will they probably get to another major final in an international tournament, it’s possible that they win the EUROs and they’re slight favorites over England.

  5. England arrogance and hype train as usual.. They'll get knocked out in the Quarterfinals as always 😂
    Overrated team with PR

  6. England Germany France Portugal and Spain are all genuine contenders to win the EUROs this summer and it makes sense that we’re rooting for the big countries, but don’t rule out some of the dark horses. They’re all massive favorites, you shouldn’t be surprised if a country like Hungary for example makes it out of their group and face one of the big teams beats them and goes to the semifinals as that’s something that could happen. In recent international tournaments, an unlikely team we’ve seen them make a deep run where they get to the final or even the semifinals. In 2004 20 years ago, didn’t Greece of all countries win the EUROs. In the 2016 EUROs, I’m pretty sure that Wales got to the semifinals, we saw that with the Croatia national team in the 2018 World Cup and the last EUROs in 2021, remember Denmark made it to the semifinals and who would’ve thought that would happen after losing their best player in Christian Eriksen who suffered that cardiac arrest in the first game of the tournament. Who could forget Morocco’s magical run at the World Cup 2 years ago where they made it to the semifinals. International football is very unpredictable meaning that crazy things can happen in major tournaments and at this upcoming EUROs if someone like Serbia Hungary Switzerland Denmark or even Ukraine for example has a deep run it wouldn’t be shocking as you can’t rule out other countries even if they’re not as talented as England France or Germany.

  7. England is sooo over rated 2021 made the finals after flopping got to the finals scored and parked the bus … 2022 WC complaining they got robbed against France …
