Arsenal wasting time again all season
I’ve been very sceptical about people calling someone a good replacement for Partey. Partey when not injured, is truly a unique player, with qualities hard to find. A defensive midfielder who is composed enough to beat the press, pass through the lines, make progressive passes, and defend well. Really aren’t many players that fit that profile. Fofana is almost as close as it gets, as well as Wharton imo.
Perfect midfielder for Arsenal! Get him and Sesko on board, then concentrate on selling. The cover is adequate elsewhere, if used properly.
I prefer they keep Lokonga. If Klopp thinks Lokonga is a good player, I don't see why we need another.

He plays nothing like Partey. I feel like people are just into the shiny new toy syndrome. Partey’s passing ability is totally take for granted. Declan can’t pass like him and neither can Fofana. Partey has definitely lost a step but he’s become underrated massively.
