Saka is guranteed a start given how much Southgate values him. Call me crazy but I think Palmer is as good as Foden, he just played for a crappy team. The issue with English fans is they want international futbol to look like club futbol. These are totally two different realities, especially when the manager is as conservative as Gareth. The low-block in international futbol is really hard to break down and it requires a certain risk than Southgate is averse to given how big the stakes are.

Rubbish. Both can start. Just because Jude isn’t playing in England doesn’t mean he should be benched. You lot did this to Sancho. Froze him out and pushed him to sign for Manchester United. If Jude wasn’t obviously good, you lot would have frozen him out.
I agree both great players but Foden edges it for me he just has that “THING” a bit like Gazza had like he floats across the pitch always head up looking to play forward which Bellingham has as well but Foden is Englands best player in my opinion

Lol, it started with English media. Start Foden who has only 3 more goal contribution than Jude Bellingham in 11 more games & who is 4 years older. Foden is so overhyped, 1st season he's decent & gets so much hype. Bellingham was twice the player Foden was this season, not just in terms of goals & assists but everything. Even for England, Bellingham is 10x the player than Foden.
This foden obsession like he is #10, it's like pr for him because the guy he only service himself and doesn't have creative mindset! Jude will be the next English media scapegoat! 🤣🤣

I've lost count of the amount of times I've heard people talk about Rashford being Southgate's favourite player and talk as if he's always good for England and is an ever-present in the first XI.
Rashford has been to four major tournaments but has only started two games in total and one of those was a dead rubber!
