South Korea trained at their World Cup base in Doha, Qatar on Sunday – the eve of a round of 16 tie against tournament favourites Brazil.
The ‘Tigers of Asia’ won their final game in Group H – beating an under-strength Portugal side 2-1 – to reach the knockout stage for a third time in the space of six World Cups.
Five-time former champions Brazil lost their final game in Group G against Cameroon after head coach Tite also rotated his squad, but South Korea can expect to face a more familiar line-up on Monday, with Neymar hoping to return from an ankle injury.
Kim Young-gwon is expected to maintain his place in the heart of South Korea defence, which would see the the 32-year-old win a 100th international cap.
