Chelsea Transfer Talk: Maresca Highlights Chelsea’s Weak Points| Latest Chelsea News |

Chelsea plans to support new manager Enzo Maresca by making at least four key signings this summer, but they need to sell players first. Maresca, set to replace Mauricio Pochettino, has been secured from Leicester City.

Although Maresca fits well with the current squad, he wants to strengthen the team, focusing on a new striker, center-back, goalkeeper, and left-back.

Maresca seeks a goalkeeper who is good at playing out from the back since Djordje Petrovic and Robert Sanchez don’t fit his style. Chelsea is interested in Burnley’s James Trafford, who Maresca knows from Manchester City.

The main priority is a reliable goal-scoring striker, with Chelsea targeting Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, who has a £113 million release clause and interest from PSG and Arsenal.

With Thiago Silva leaving, Chelsea needs a new center-back and also aims to bolster their left-back options.

To finance these new signings and comply with financial rules, Chelsea will sell homegrown players like Conor Gallagher, Armando Broja, Ian Maatsen, and Trevoh Chalobah, along with other fringe players.
