Messi literally has no weaknesses to his game. Im a ronaldo fan, but I seriously don't think theres an argument that puts ronaldo above messi. Ronaldo is a once in century talent, while messi on the otherhand is a once in a millennium talent.
Cristiano is an absolute monster, but he shines according to how great his team is. The better the team, the better cristiano performs. Cristiano has had one of the best ever careers in football history, and is definitely top 2/3 greatest of all time. Messi on the other hand is the system. Even if his team is absolutely trash, he will be able to perform and carry his team. Hes simply the goat and theres no arguments for it
the only Pele advantage over Messi is Pele never had capability of video watching, learning skills as players have today. For that Pele is better then every one else I would say.

Messi is the greatest to ever lived . We will never witness someone with world class goal scoring , world class playmaking , world class dribbling , world class free kick ability . There will be player that will match one of Messi’s qualities but never all together .
The thing is, football evolved so much, it got more athletik, technique and more professional. At the time when maradona or pele played they were so good because everyone was just bad in comparison. They smoked, drinked and stuff like that. Footbal today is just much more athletic and therefore messi is 10x better then pele and maradone combined, period!!!

Gardiola is very intelligent person who smartly replied that he knows winning a wc or any big tournament is a team achievement so a player should not be judged on base of that but for him it wouldn’t have changed his best player if he didn’t won it and one thing he discribed very intelligently that some people chose their best according to how much they have seen or enjoyed a particular player in their time and their sentiments are glued to them so they can’t change and thats ok.
