Welcome guys it’s always great to have you join me in my videos.

So the fight between Naoya Inoue and Ricardo Rodriguez took place on May 21, 2017, at the Ariake Coliseum in Tokyo, Japan.

It was a highly anticipated bout as Inoue, known as “The Monster,” was defending his WBO World Super Flyweight title for the fifth time.

Naoya Inoue, a major star in boxing, entered the ring of course undefeated record of 12 – 0 and a reputation for his power and technical skill. Ricardo Rodriguez, a determined challenger from Mexico, was aiming to make a statement by dethroning the champion.

So guys there’s not much for me to add here except for blistering combinations, excellent check hooks, a cheeky switch to southpaw in round 2 and 2 left hooks resulting in 2 knockdowns and a Knockout victory.

Now currently Inoue sits as a 2 time undisputed champion and having just defeated Luis Nery of Puerto Rico we are all asking what can we expect next from Inoue?

Well I believe the next possible fight could be against the Australian Sam Goodman who is also currently undefeated with a record of 18 – 0. Goodman is Inoue’s WBO mandatory.

Another fight that could take place is an MJ match so Murodjon Akmadaliev. He had a loss against Inoue’s previous opponent Marlon Tapales but many believe MJ possesses enough skill to match and best Tapales.

So a fight of different styles could encourage a clash between Inoue and MJ

  1. Interesting side note, Inoue's rookie card is highly underpriced now for some odd reason, been buying them since 2018. there are only 3000 cards made BBM #31 2014 should be a decent investment let's hope… love to see him live!! when he comes back to the US no matter, I will see him fight. Thanks Charles love your channel and your approach, Love from Oklahoma

  2. Au ralenti, on admire le travail de l'angle, de la distance, du retrait ou de l'en-avant impeccablement calés sur la position de l'adversaire à une vitesse incroyable. Chapeau bas… Merci !

  3. In this fight, NAOYA displayed the brilliance of his ring craftmanship, displaying superb defense! bobbing, weaving,& evading counters & that amazing footwork of his & those snappy combinations to boot! what a talent! so many Casimero fans! doesn’t’ know about what technical skills in BOXING should comprised of!

  5. His check hooks are so nasty. The power generated from short distance from such a small guy is still hard to understand. Technique perfected.
