I think it would be a better fit for Trent to play RB and Walker to play alongside Stones in the centre of defence. Maguire is far too ponderous on the ball (especially at International level)

After watching Ollie Watkins dispatch his penalty confidently in the penalty shootout away against Lille in the Conference League quarter-final (after having to wait 2 minutes to receive a ball), I have no concerns with Watkins at all. The media love affair over Toney is just bizarre to me. I'm almost convinced he's got a PR firm influencing this narrative because he's had a dreadful season.
Should be Konsa, Stones, Branthwaite as the back 3 with Trent pushing up alongside Rice which gives Bellingham and Foden license to roam.
Branthwaite and Konsa are 2 of the best 1v1 defenders in the league and it’s backed up by the statistics too
