This was the guy Arteta should have got to replace Xhaka, he has the same profile.
Would be perfect for our left eight position. Would also bring the best out of Martinelli.
I would love to sign Frenkie de Jong, but his injury record is just horrible. I mean he's literally half of Rice and Rodri at 18 matches last season.
But if we're talking Koopmeiners he's at nearly 30 matches so not perfect but still very consistent.
Would I prefer an all action physical presence like Fofana maybe but Koopmeiners is unique as a player.
He's very reminiscent of Ronald Koeman not particularly physically gifted but an absolute technician. And with that high technical comes amazing versatility and offensive threat.
I still think we should prioritize Youssouf Fofana a top class CDM who can also play number 8. But at half Koopmeiners transfer fee of 50m plus.
Ok so finally folk are starting to to notice Koopmeiners.. personally I’ve been singing his praises since he was at AZ where for those that don’t know he played either as a DM or on the left of a back three ! He is a very versatile player and a quality dead ball exponent around the box or from the penalty spot. While playing at the back for AZ he was known for long racking passes from the back to the forwards . Some might think he might be a tad lightweight for the back line hence he’s gradually moved further forward but that move is undoubtedly because of his passing quality. This season he received 5 yellows so he’s no angle but he’s smart enough to make sure he stays on the pitch .
Apparently Liverpool are sniffing around and Utd were as well but that may change if Ten Hag leaves .
His value on Transfer Market is around €40 but personally I think €55 is more likely. Arsenal have required someone other than Ödegaard to pick a lock and Koopmeiners can certainly do that in a multitude of roles . Well worth the money and would certainly be on my shopping list this summer .
Deluded this is why I love your videos your football knowledge is top tier I’ve been shouting to arsenal fans we don’t need to go out and spend 100 million on guimares because of this guy he can take the #6 position to another level next to Declan a better version of Xhaka but people want the big names instead of the logical ones especially since yes guimares may be better but I don’t think he’d be better than Koopmeiners in OUR team respectfully and it spares us money to spend on that striker and in my opinion this guy with Alexander Isak coming into our team will make us absolutely unstoppable I really and truly believe that 100%
Honestly, should have signed Koopmeiners years ago. He’s been class for time. He was literally captaining AZ at 22 and has been one of the best midfielders in Serie A since he joined Atalanta. He’s so good. Would love to see him at the carpet.
He is not better than Amadou Onana or Connor Gallager,
I personally don't want him because we have Martinelli n Trossard;however if Mikel Arteta could transform him to a right wing player n he could backup Saka …ĺike he transformed Havertz… I support it…🤷♂️
