Kaveh Solhekol says Gareth Southgate feels he can be a success at a top-four Premier League club and may want that challenge in the future.

  1. The football has always been pretty tragic but his results have been quite good, last night the ref was against us and it's not his fault Kane missed his pen. It's a hard case to sack him right now, we could do worse really.

  2. I'll tell you exactly what's next for him. He'll get absolutely slaughtered until the qualifying for the Euro's kick off. England will do well in qualifying, and he'll be seen as the messiah again. Then the back stabbing will start until the squad is announced. The media will bum them up again, mapping their route to the final. They'll get the easiest group (again), but it'll be labelled the 'group of death'. They'll win their first game, and be nailed on as champions, draw their next two and qualify for the latter stages. All the talk will be about England winning the thing, they'll get pumped out by the first quality team they play against (again), and the knives will be out for him (yet again). He'll then step down, and all the talk will be about who will lead England to that next level.
Ofcourse, the honest answer to that is 'nobody' as there is no next level for England. They'll appoint Lampard as his successor, he'll qualify for the World Cup through the easiest qualifying group (again), and get pumped out in the group stages.

  3. Not a chance Southgate would be taken on at a top ten club…no one in the premiership would touch him. These presenters must be smoking something if they believe that πŸ€”

  4. Only English fans could want someone gone who's got us to a semi final and a final in the last 4 years. He's been our best manager since Alf Ramsey.

  5. If he's sick of talking about non football related issues why did he insist on the knee bending and continue when every other nation had ditched it, even the USA? It was their issue afterall regardless of the rights and wrongs.
He is clearly a nice man and has done a really impressive job: picking up a poisoned chalice that no else was brave enough to handle.
I just don't get why he dragged England into the BLM stuff. We already had the "Kick it Out" campaign.

  6. Southgate quedate!! Southgate quedate!! Southgate quedateeee!!!! Lalalala
    Southgate quedate!! Southgate quedate!!
    Southgate quedateeee!! Lalalala

  7. This is the England problem, you praise getting to a final, semi final as winning a trophy. Yes he is a good man manager but you have to make hard decisions and get an elite manger that can take this squad to glory

  8. I was taking a test at school, halfway through I raised my hand and shouted SOUTHGATE! SOUTHGATE!

The teacher approached me and smiled, taking my test paper away.

    She knew I was finished.

  9. I think he should stay. Just look at Joachim LΓΆw when he took over the Germany squad back in 2006. Took them 8 years to finally lift a trophy. I think England will lift a trophy soon given these far tournament runs.

  10. We've had Capello, nobody listened to him, 2 clowns, McClaren and Hodgson, now new broom Southgate. None of it has worked. Isn't it time to try a female manager?

  11. Was a crap defender that won nothing as a player, only famous for missing a penalty at Euro 96, then got Middlesbrough relegated and ended up England manager – total madness !
What a CV to have !
I don’t think any of the 92 league clubs would want his services !
    Total embarrassment

  12. This idea says Southgate has been dealing with non football questions, when he in particular is one of the people for years has been talking about Qatar negatively and demand both manager and players to talk a stand πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
