STOP THIS FUCKINF NONSENSE. Its clear right away whp started watching football in 2017. There is easilly like 15 mid trios and even pairs who were 3 times the fucking players these 3 are. Just stop already

Recency bias. Without them Madrid still wins easily. However when you take out their incredible forwards, then they lose badly to a 17yo, 18yo, and 34yo. They're simply above average players on a team with great attacking. I can guarantee that Valverde will surpass these guys and he's already becoming a game changing player
XBI are the best in my view.
Probably the only midfield pairing to match up to Xavi, Iniesta and Busquets from Barcelona. Casemiro is the most important piece of the puzzle for Madrid to allow Kroos and Modric to play their game. Let's not forget Kroos and Modric were good #10s but since Zidane took over the first time they were converted to excellent central midfielders and with Casemiro doing the dirty work at the back those three played a key role for Madrid to win 3 straight Champions League titles and 5 in 8 years, a Copa Del Rey and 3 La Liga titles in that same time period.

Everyone would downplay this trio by Iniesta Busquet and Xavi. But the main thing is.. Modric Casemiro kross never break down even when the pressure is out of the roof. But not in the case of Barca Midfield trio.
Barca has possession. Madrid trio had mental strength and can cope with any attacking football and absorb all the pressure building by an opposition team.
This trio is unreal in every aspect except that they aren't the possession type player like Barca trio.

Yeah iniesta busqi and xavi are one of the best midf of all time this is smtg to not agrue with even if i'm madridista i love watching them and learn many things as a midfielder but KCM is amtg related to longevity, titles, entertainment and domination i think it's the best midf trio of all time
