  1. 0:0 after 120 minutes against Morocco as Spain is bad, which means his tactical plan did not work out, which means somebody else would have probably done better, which means he can step down. The technique and tactical knowledge of spanish players is usually a little better, so its a loss and no disrespect to Morocco. Morocco deserved the win no doubt, but spanish football has to be considered as more developed.

  2. The decision not to have a recognised number 9 in the squad, when there were so many very good ones in the spanish league – iglesias, aspas, etc – was absolitely shocking and just pure snobbery. Spain being unable to score against far inferior squads like Morocco and japan was absolutely woeful management and it was 100% luis enrique's fault. The chances of aspas and/or iglesias not being able to score in 250 minutes of football against morrocco and japan would have been very high odds with goalscorer betting markets. Abysmal manager. Thanks for nothing – destroyed spain's chances with terrible management. Good riddance.

  3. They need to get the best coach in the world PEP Gaurdiola that way they won’t lose any game as the English media say he’s the genius of the beautiful game…

  4. The guy has himself to blame. He is the architect of his downfall. Too many inexperienced teenagers in that Spanish squad. In tournament football experience is key.

  5. Da hat Luis Enrique wohl nicht so viel Rückhalt bekommen wie Hansi Flick… Mir tut das leid; ich fand ihn immer sympathisch… und im Großen und Ganzen auch tüchtig.

  6. 1000 penalties during training can't compare to 1 penalty during a knockout stage of WC. You may have the technique but it's difficult to train the mentality, especially when Spain already has a bad penalty shootout record.

  7. I don’t understand the negativity towards Spain and Luis Enrique 🤷🏻‍♂️ he reached the last 16 of the World Cup twice in a row 😮. Spain are overachieving right now and in the last 3 World Cups have been an absolute joy to watch 😃. I don’t know what everyone else has been watching but this is the Spain I know and love 😌

  8. Enrique was just lucky to manage Messi, Xavi,Iniesta & bsquet. These players made him look a better coach or manager but the basic truth is that he's no where near the likes of klopp, Guadiola & Conte etc.

  9. Great PLAyer. But dreadful football playing team. Spain have been sending teams to sleep for years now. They need to rebuild. And find a more attacking style. Even the pens. Wtf were they? Passes to the keeper?
