I would be more worried about the actual cheating and play-acting that goes on on the pitch. The amount of diving and rolling around is pathetic
Bookies wanna fleece the general public. When they get fleeced there’s uproar.
If he intended to cheat perhaps he should have joined man city
I find it funny. They will jump on players like this. But not teams that breach FFP and Match Officals that fix matches.
they want to sack people from now on < for life >
What a joke!
There are hundreds/thousands of yellow cards for same/similar incidents.
Why are these singled out as corrupt and associated to fixing?
Maybe look at referees for dishing out yellow cards for similar outcomes?
Martins writing all the names of players that have done the same…. but he has run out if paper
How does a booking not change the game ? It means he can't put in another tackle an could cost his side the game because of it
Well done keown for sticking it to the gambling industry , shame you work for bassically a betting affiliation channel 🤔♥️
I believe Martin totally misses the point of the purpose of these bets if indeed they occurred? Clearly, Martin leaps to the conclusion the player would personally benefit from when it is more likely he looking out for the financial welfare of family and friends who most probably have far more challenging lifestyle than a professional football player.
So glad he turned us down and went to west ham and not Newcastle. We dodge a bullet there.
Unfortunately for Paqueta, the FA should make an example of him and give him a lifetime ban.
Referees have been fixing the game for decades and no one does a thing about it…
Bet no one’s even considered the players mental state & well being
How is it not match fixing? Say Paqueta (allegedly) did this without meaning to actually hurt his teams chances in a game…him getting a yellow card means he cannot commit to tackling any further for fear of a red…which ultimately means he chooses plays differently and compromises his teams defending (and hence chance to win the game)…
What about City Cheats ?
Jordan sich a hypocrit.wants concrete evidence against Paqueta but does not give the same benefit of doubt to Msn City.
So guilty! Paid so many millions yet still some fck up! Outside gangster pressure on family n player lot of times! Organised crime in South America is out of control, and once they know where your family live, you're in trouble…..forget going to police for help, they probably corrupt! Sad end to career to a very talented player on the way to meg money at City! Idiocy at its best!😮
If man city don't get sent to the second division, the FA has no moral rights.
How do you prove that a player got a yellow card on purpose?
I'm not saying did or didn't because ultimately only he will know but I don't see how you could PROVE that any player purposely got a booking unless he was secretly recorded agreeing to do so in exchange for money or whatever. Which then brings me to the fact that if believe everything you read at least, he's West Hams highest paid player on £150,000-a-week. So with that being said why on earth would you get yourself embroiled in this kind of stuff in the first place?
Still not as bad as what Man Citeh have done.
Paquetta doesn’t have Man City s lawyers to drag it out for years so he’s fvcked
Why is this different to Ivan toney
How do they prove he intentionally got a card?
He’s been doing this for a while and deserves his punishment. I remember when he just joined AC Milan that the kid looked really sharp and technical but was getting booked all the time for silly faults and I wonder if it had to do with his vice even back then… he will end up ruining his career for some extra money.. shows how intelligent he is and how smart are the ones close to him…
Yes – the FA need that solid evidence now before he was charged. They should be ready to put him in front of a tribunal immediately having presented him with the evidence against him so that his representation can assess that evidence and compile a defence (if he indeed has one). Simon is right, keep perspective here.
what an idiot
Every and any action changes the course of the game
Jordan's Podcast is bank rolled by a booky so he's far from impartial and objective in this debate.
