  1. Not a fan of Rashford or United. I have questioned his quality like others. Plus his attitude and questionable decisions of late. And I believe Southgate couldn't pick him.

However, he has been criticised all season and now has been dropped for England. Is this headline really necessary? Is this not an attempt to inflame further a situation that's already hot enough.

Or maybe I'm reading too much into this. The guy's been knocked down as it. His reputation is in the mud. Why kick him any further?

  2. Rashford knows he hasn’t played well enough, he hasn’t complained about being dropped, infact he wished England and Southgate good luck, Move on you miserable bunch

  3. I could swear i remember English media saying this guy was better than Mbappe becuz he scored a penalty against PSG
Bunch of BS! those who said that should have been jailed for 5 years

  4. He should of moved instead of signing that contract and he would of went somewhere and played with great players that would of made him better… instead of staying at man ush!ted

  5. Marcus Rashford needs to take more accountability for his poor performances this season which led to him being left out of the England squad for the EUROs and stop making excuses like blaming the fans and going on social media which is the last place for an out of form player to go to. This was a decision that was 50-50 and it divided a lot of opinion, but Gareth Southgate made the right call in leaving Rashford out of the squad for the EUROs this summer. It shouldn't be a surprise that he didn't make the squad even though some thought that he would. Southgate has been criticized for his team selection choices, picking favoritism over players in form, bit with this latest squad for the EUROs, he showed a ruthlessness about him and picked players who deserved to be in the team purely off of form and didn't pick the ones who have been out of form and dealing with injuries. This was something that was unrealistic 12 months ago as he had the best season of his career scoring 30+ goals in all competitions and to go from that to 7 goals is a massive downgrade. He's one of the highest paid players in the premier league and he gets paid more than players who are fare more consistent than him.

There has been many factors that've contributed to his poor level of play this season, Manchester United's collective form, potential personal issues in his life off the field, he's lacked that hunger and drive on the pitch since he got that contract extension in the summer, he himself should be doing much better. It's not just his lack of output, he has been a passenger on the field, he's lazy doesn't do enough with the ball, doesn't track back without the ball and the body language with this player just isn't right and while he has performed well in an England shirt, with his current form, it's just not been good enough to warrant a place in the squad. It's not just how poor he's been playing, what he's done off the field he's shown signs of a lack of commitment and professionalism, going to parties and strip clubs and this behavior led to Ten Hag dropping him wasting his career with this behavior and it shouldn't be tolerated at this level. He needs to get his head in the right place because it's in the clouds right now. To me, it gets to a point where talent alone isn't enough because there's a certain ceiling to how far talent takes a player and you have to work hard and be committed. Him playing well in the FA Cup final doesn't mean that he's proved Southgate wrong, because he's been bad all season and one game doesn't change anything. His England career isn't over, he's 26 years old and he's capable of bouncing back as he's 26 years old and should be in his prime not regressing, but maybe Rashford is in need of a change in scenery in order to reignite his career, a move away from Manchester United could get his form back on track. As we've seen with Kai Havertz at Arsenal and Jadon Sancho on his return to Borussia Dortmund, struggling players need the right environment and foundation to thrive and leaving Manchester United isn't a bad thing for him to be honest.

  6. Cashford got his contract and has put his feet up. Simple as that.
The Ben Simmons of football. He wanted the money, but not the work. If they can get him out of the club and get 40 mill, they should RUN to get that deal done.

  7. Like Bale and others he lost interest in football but didn't mean to which could be a modern tragedy except he is stinking rich…

  8. While Utd were building up play for the first goal, Rashford was way offside and WALKING back towards goal. He couldn't even bother to run back as Dalot was ready to cross to Garnacho. Fortunately he was at the wingside of the pitch and not interfering with play to be deemed offside Even Garnacho ran back onside before chasing down the ball again which he then scored. Rashford has been nothing more than a flash in the pan all these years. Even Amrabat a loanee plays with more heart and effort than this lazy homegrown academy shitester.
