These teenagers are some of the hottest prospects in world football right now, but most haven’t been given the chance to impress on a consistent basis until this season. From Barcelona signing Pedri, who is holding his own alongside Fati, Messi and Griezmann; to Adil Aouchiche, who is creating more chances than former PSG teammates Neymar and Di Maria at Saint Etienne; to Liverpool boy Curtis Jones, who is currently being picked ahead of Naby Keita and James Milner by Jurgen Klopp, these prodigies are all set to have a killer twelve months.
We also look at Valencia’s Yunus Musah, who is quickly becoming one of the La Liga’s most impressive young players; Michael Olise, who is helping Reading mount an unlikely push for Premier League promotion; Jamal Musiala, who has somehow broken into the Bayern Munich team at 17; and Florian Wirtz, who is doing an excellent job of replacing Kai Havertz at Bayer Leverkusen.
