I like the way the ref handled this game on the whole. Didn’t stop play when players were trying to get fouls given. Push on is a good style of reffing and minimal calls on penalties (which suck as a way to win). Players just need to get that ball in the net using skill, not by fouls.

Anyone who actually watched the game knows Sydney FC should have won 2-0!
Firstly he disallowed a clear handball that the A-league was so embarrassed by they didn’t put it into the highlights.
He then disallowed a very clear goal! Fabio Gomes 100% didn’t interfere with play. He didn’t touch the ball, he didn’t touch the player. There was no way!
The no goal looked fine to me, I don’t see the fuss.
