How are they not picking tomori? When ac milan won the league he consistently performed and easily surpasses anyone in this squad. Around 5 players won a league title in that squad and tomori also has the experience of doing this. Makes 0 sense.
It's clear when he has to trim this squad to 26 it will mainly be forwards who'll get the chop…

Bringing the best out of Rice and Bellingham must be what the rest of Southgate's men should do. Can Mainoo, Trent or Wharton do that for the rest of our team/attackers? Will be intriguing to see if Eze, Saka, Palmer or Maddison can work well with the other named midfielders like Jones and Gallagher. As for the defence, Southgate can have no complaints in terms of depth.
Southgate has been a manager since 2006 in that time he has won nothing. He is the perfect example of a manager stealing a living. England won't win a thing with him in charge. Get ready for Eddie the useless to leave Newcastle after Southgate quits a total failure and then Eddie I don't know Howe becomes the next England manager to fail.

Bellingham is a midfielder…Scoring more goals then strikers this season doesn't take away that fact. Trent is still a Full back last I checked too until someone actually steps up and adapts him properly into the role.

Gr8 squad by Gareth. Maths Profs very glad. Rashford failed to win Euro21 by fluffing cup final pen. Palmer & Gordon & Saka are all much better & will score AET pen shootouts. Playing a back 3 of Walker Stones Quansah will win it.
With Trent-AA & Trippier as wing backs.
