Sofyan Amrabat is currently Manchester United’s best defensive midfielder. In this video, I highlight the reasons why INEOS and Erik Ten Hag should definitely turn Sofyan Amrabat’s loan into a permanent deal this summer.

  1. The poor management of Amrabat is exactly the reason why INEOS should be reluctant to give EtH another year. Yes it is true we have had to deal with a record number of injuries, but the name of this game is winning. If you cannot have your very best players available to play your style of football as an Elite Manager you have to adapt and be flexible.

All this while or since January at least our midfield has been left wide open whereas there was a possibility to play Amrabat in his favorite No.6 role to give more protection to the defense.

How then do we trust someone like EtH who does not trust even his own player he signed on a season long loan only to sit him on the bench and use him when our backs are already against the wall.

  2. Can't wait to sell 8 players new signings can't shine until we get rid of all the dead wood if you have been here more than 3 years you need to leave same players have sacked Jose van gal ole but they are still here not good enough I hope ten hag and sjr can finally do what United have not done since 2013

  3. Your case for Amrabat is very solid. In fact, it makes a lot of sense to keep him for next season. As you explained very well in your video, he can be a very good squad player if not a starter. If in the next two games he performs well, United should definitely keep him. Let's see…

  4. We want to Cash in on at least 10 players this summer. We want to offload Greenwood, Sancho, Mount, Bruno, VDB, Maguire, Lindelof, Williams, Pellistri & Antony etc.. ASAP & recruit at least 6 players this summer e.g. 2CB, 2CM, RW & ST!

Then we can seriously challenge for league Next season!

    Keep it in the family!

  5. told a lot of times..eth should have use amrabat instead of mctomminay in cdm position..he's the natural choice..maybe can push casemiro back to cdm and place amrabat as an emergency CB.

  8. Amrabat has been very impressive over the last couple of matches. I am especially surprised at his ability to press. He doesn't just press for the sake of pressing. He knows exactly WHEN to press as a result, his presses often turn over possession into our favour immediately giving us an opportunity to counter attack.

It would be a smart move from United to trigger his option. United fans need to realise that we simply do not have the funds to invest in every position.

  9. Hey hermano, hope your doing lovely.

Do you think Amrabat has the capabilities to play as a CB?

I would prefer him there instead of Casemiro. I believe Amrabat gets motivated playing with Casemiro as he feels confident and security due to Casemiro’s world class experience.

Would love to hear your thoughts on that question! Gracias bro!

  10. Who's here after Amrabat's hall of shame performance against Brighton? Yeah, this guy is absolutely delusional. Used to be somewhat decent in his match analysis but now it is just getting pathetic. Unsubscribed.

  11. These last games show that we should keep him including todays game against Brighton. He hasnt got any playing time and still preforms like a champ. He blocks players like it's nothing and he is mean player that sacrafice and puts his body in the way. I like those kind of players and I grew up with Steve Bruce,Gary Pallister and Kevin Moran together with Brian McClair that happens to be my favoritt player at the time these were units. Not the most tecnical players but the put in the shift everytime they played and then some. We need the players that grinds down the oponents and gives them hell. That will always make the other team tread a little more carefully. 😊 Just imagine him with Martinez or him with Mainoo. I would rather see him with Mainoo and a fast tecnical CB with Martinez.
