Have watched some vids of him, and although no arguing with his physicality and leadership skills, theres some aspects of his ball control that screams Mangala at me, and that would be exploited in the faster paced Premiership…tread very carefully

I remember Kompany last season against United away. Rashford was in and he just floored him and took a yellow didn’t see anything from Rashford for the rest of the game, if we sign him then hopefully he can do a similar job to Vinnie then we’re sorted.
Agree 100% we need to be signing Koulibaly this Summer. Just really lack that strong leader type now Vinnie has gone and I couldn’t care less how much we pay – this is how football works since the Premier League started. You just pay whatever it takes nowadays – it’s not like it is coming out of my pocket! I was massively disappointed we didn’t spend what we needed to and get Maguire last year. He will be at United for 10 years now, already the captain, decent player on the ball (would look a lot better at a team like City where every player wants the ball and is comfortable taking the ball in difficult spots around the box also) and a strong defender who scores the odd goal as well.

Love to get him because I don’t think age is a problem with defenders because you see Ramos,chellini and bounci at the highest level so I say pay as much to get him
Koulibaly is a must signing for City. They need a proven World Class CB now. Not a unproven CB or a young CB with potential. City need a VVD type signing at CB and Koulibaly is just that. Let’s hope City do not get bullied in these negotiations like Jorginho. A fair price would be 70 million or Cancelo plus 40 Million…

Koulibaly is an absolute BEAST, we need his leadership qualities, he quick across the ground, he’s a fantastic passer short and long, a brilliant tackler. He’s only just turned 29, so he’s just about to hit his peak, his injury record is fantastic for a world class CB. It’s gonna take a minimum of £85m to sign him.
i agree with you guys … 💙 i think if we have to compete with Liverpool we want a guy who has proven his quality at every level … so for me rather than giving 80 mil for Dias who will take time to settle . tbh he would be worth every penny if we win everything I the next 4 years. Just my opinion would like if you had your on my comment . 💙
Is it worth it buying one CB and no-one else (because FFP will make sure of that)? There's an argument both ways. I think if he's as good as they say then yeah, maybe we need him that much.

Otamendi is not tidy on the ball or nowhere good enough on the ball for a Pepteam. He was a Pellegrini signing. He is an absolute liability. Move him out and get Koulibaly/Ake in.

I think koulibaly is a great defender but the only thing that worries me is if we spend all that money and he dosent do it in the premier league , I remember we bought mangala in 14/15 season and I thought he was gonna he a great defender let’s hope I’m wrong
I pray everyday that this man ends up at City… He's eaisly a replacement of Kompany at the back. He is very strong and confident going into tackles and he also reads the game so well… I would love to see him in a city shirt next season 💙💙💙💙💙

I would sell Otamendi but I think Garcia will be loaned for a season and come back the following year to replace Dinho.
A winger to replace Sanè is not a priority as all our wingers are fit players who can sustain the intensity of the Premier League.
