These days, we are seeing more and more British youngsters take a chance and move abroad to pursue their footballing ambitions, not least as we see an influx of foreign talent to the Premier League taking up squad spaces and gametime. So here, we’ll profile ten young players from the United Kingdom who are making waves on the continent. Some are well known, like Jude Bellingham at Borussia Dortmund, or Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala, or were once touted as the next big thing, like former Sporting midfielder Ryan Gauld. There’s former Spurs players, like Marcus Edwards and Noni Madueke, doing the business in Portugal and the Netherlands respectively, as well as ex-Man Utd prospect Angel Gomes, who is now one of the star youngsters in the Liga NOS. Add in to the mix a couple of under the radar youngsters, like ex-Brighton defender George Cox, now in the Eredivisie, and Bassala Sambou, once of Coventry and now tearing it up in Denmark, and we present you an eclectic mix of British kids who could well be stars of the future.
