a brilliant mind, he learned dutch within a year at his time at FC Groningen which is one of the most difficult languages to learn. His first Ajax interview was in dutch and he played at Groningen for only one year. Most players learn english cuz everyone in holland speaks english but he learned dutch. absolutely amazing. Ofcourse he had a terrible accent and the dutch wasnt perfect but still. His dutch improved graduattely in 4 years. The fact that his first interview in Liverpool was in spanish tells u his dedication to learn the language of the country he's in. His later barcelona interviews with dutch journalists were a mixture of dutch and english but still a true legend
