  1. Southgate does need to go. Yes he had them playing well against France, but England hasn't beaten a team of equal skill in an important match. No is celebrating wins against Iran, Wales, Senegal, and a tied USA.

  2. In 1986 & 1990 Argentina-Germany…And for a single team, it happened four times before — 1938, 1986, 1990, 1998…teams are Italy, Germany, Argentina and Brazil, either consecutive winners or winner/runners up.

  3. Id rather see England go out to France looking good than lose in teh final/semi looking poor – when u look at the stats, ENG had 16 shots with 8 on target to double France's 8 shots with 5 on target and also out possessed 57/43% to ENG – AND the most important other than the actual score lol is expected goals, England had 2.4, France had 1.2 – Eng also outpassed them 442 to something like 307 i believe – overall England WAS the better team but the btter team doesnt always win…

  4. Griezmann for France is extremely underrated, MotM easily. Absolute master class from the French Maestro. That 2nd assist was ridiculous, most chances created in the WC not surprised at all.

  5. Every defender makes a mistake once, important is that Theo learns from it. He has maldini looking over him and I’m sure he won’t do that again. At least for Ac Milan ⚫️🔴

  6. Agree 100%. I took 2 penalties in a cup final – the second deep into extra time. You do start wondering where to put it. Whilst I scored both (one either side in my case); you are never 100% sure until you see the ball hit the back the net. It's tough.

  7. I wish these people would do their homework or KNOW their world cup history. Frank, Ger v Arg in both 1986 and 1990. So, once again this panel falls short. Poor form.

  8. Theo Hernandez was a carrying a scar from Chelsea's wins against Milan in the CL this season. He remembered Mount won the penalty kick that effectively lost them the game at the San Siro.

  9. Ziyech??? I don't remember him doing anything much other than having a shot off target and a long ball that the striker couldn't reach… there are many players more impressive than ziyech.
