In an era where management changes seem to be more common than ever, we take a look at ten of the dumbest appointments in recent history. Current managers Vincent Kompany and Ronald #Koeman feature for underwhelming stints thus far (inc #Barcelona), whilst two Crystal Palace managers make their way in as well – Ronald de Boer and Terry Venables. In fact there’s a few Premier League appointments, with Mark Hughes, Alex McLeish and Quique Sanchez Flores all making the cut. There’s also a mention for Danny Blind’s disastrous time in charge of the Netherlands and Vanderlei Luxemburgo managing #RealMadrid – his only job in Europe during four decades of management. Enjoy!
